Coinbase filed patent invalidation lawsuit against Dynapass

Coinbase filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for Central California, filed a declarative judgment request against Dynapass Inc. and Dynapass IP Holdings LLC, claiming that it did not infringe U.S. Patent No. 6,993,658 and demanded that the patent be invalid. Litigation documents are filed by Coinbase’s attorney representative and accompanied by a jury trial requirement. Coinbase Chief Legal Officer Paul Grewal said the company will use legal actions to combat such "patent blackmail".
