Trump: U.S. stocks are eager for tariffs as early as Wednesday

Huobi HTX reported that on Tuesday local time, US President Trump told reporters in the Oval Office of the White House that his administration would request the Supreme Court to speed up the ruling of global tariff cases in an attempt to overturn the federal court's judgment that it found his tariffs illegal. He stressed the importance of maintaining current trade policies. Trump said his administration will appeal to the Supreme Court as soon as Wednesday local time, warning that if the earlier ruling of the appeal court takes effect, it will "destructive blow to our country." He said: "We will ask the Supreme Court to accelerate the ruling and need to obtain the judgment as soon as possible." Trump claimed: "The stock market fell precisely because the market needs tariff measures, and they are eager for tariffs." But market analysts believe that corporate bond issuance and budget concerns in developed countries are the main reasons for the stock market decline.
