Crypto Team Tour continues, Hester Peirce denies support for OpenVPP

Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Commissioner Hester Peirce clarified that while OpenVPP claims to be “working” with her, her meeting with OpenVPP did not constitute an endorsement. The SEC's cryptocurrency task force is patrolling cities across the United States to engage with cryptocurrency companies, focusing on small startups. More than 300 entities have met with the task force since February, with visits to New York, Los Angeles, Cleveland and Scottsdale.
