Denmark will spend $250 million on infrastructure construction in Greenland

Denmark will invest 1.6 billion kroner ($250 million) in Greenland's infrastructure amid geopolitical tensions, while Copenhagen is trying to fight back US President Donald Trump's intention to acquire the Arctic island. Greenland has rich mineral resources and a superior geographical location. Although it has an autonomous government, it still belongs to the Kingdom of Denmark. Trump proposed investing billions of dollars to annex the territory, claiming that it would make Greenlanders rich.
