Christie's closes digital art division, NFT business comes to an end

PANews reported on September 12 that according to CoinDesk, Christie's has closed its digital art department and terminated the NFT art sales pilot. Relevant person-in-charge Nicole Sales Giles and two other employees left, and only expert Sebastian Sanchez stayed in New York. Data shows that the transaction volume of the NFT market fell by 45% month-on-month to US$867 million in the previous quarter, and the floor price of mainstream NFT projects fell sharply, while Ethereum rose by 76% during the same period.
