Odaily Planet Daily News Dragonfly managing partner Haseeb posted on X platform, "It started to feel like USDH RFP is a bit like a farce. I heard from multiple bidders that no validators were interested in considering other publishers except Native Markets. It wasn't even a serious discussion, as if a behind-the-scenes deal had been reached. Native Markets' proposal came almost immediately after the USDH RFP was announced, suggesting they were notified in advance. Others were rushing to piece together all weekend. So the entire USDH RFP was basically tailored for Native Markets. Meanwhile, the community seemed to have reached a consensus that the best proposals came from established players like Ethena, Paxos, Agora, etc., rather than A brand new startup like Native Markets. Polymarket tells the same story—As soon as the Ethena proposal was announced, odds soared immediately, becoming the most likely option to win until people realize that validators are not interested in it. Within 2 hours, odds plummeted. "It then added in the comment section: "It has been heard from more than half of USDH bidders who agree with it and said they won't say it publicly because they think it doesn't make sense and will only be criticized." In addition, another bidder told it: "I don't want to say this publicly for obvious reasons, but count me in the category of people like 'I'm sure it's for Native Markets and they want to have a procedural governance vote, but underestimate it's going to face such crazy fierce competition'."
