Nasdaq to invest $50 million in cryptocurrency exchange Gemini, founded by Winklevoss: Reuters

Source: CoinWorld
Gemini successfully secured Nasdaq as a strategic investor by raising $50 million through private placement before the IPO with the goal of raising more than $300 million. The partnership will integrate Nasdaq’s Calypso platform with Gemini’s hosting and staking services. Despite Gemini's report of a net loss of $282.5 million in the first half of 2025, the company still plans to list on Nasdaq on Friday under the stock code "GEMI", becoming the third publicly listed cryptocurrency exchange in the United States.
