Ripple helps Spanish BBVA bank upgrade digital asset custody services

Odaily Planet Daily News Spanish bank BBVA will use Ripple's technology to provide digital asset custody services to retail investors, an important upgrade following its launch of Bitcoin and Ethereum trading and custody businesses, aiming to meet EU MiCA regulatory requirements. Ripple's hosting solution comes from its previously acquired Swiss crypto custody company Metaco, and related technologies have been applied to BBVA's operations in Switzerland and Turkey. (CoinDesk)
