Dortmund's industrial center powers Europe's cryptocurrency future

The 2025 Dortmund Digital Currency Conference (CONF3RENCE 2025) ended on September 4 at the Signa Iduna Park Stadium in Dortmund, nearly doubled its scale from when it was first held in 2024. The conference has two sub-venues: the Shendong Technology Sub-venue focuses on technology implementation, and the main sub-venue discusses MiCA regulations and European regulatory directions. Key participants include OKX, Bitvavo (which Bitvavo emphasizes its new German license to come into effect on September 1), Robinhood and OneKey Wallet. The conference, which was held in conjunction with Dortmund Digital Week, attracted cryptocurrency professionals and emerging participants, facilitated industry dialogue and confirmed it will be held again in September 2026.
