According to Foresight News, Morph announced that it will officially end the black card and platinum card plan due to strategic adjustments, and will issue ETH refunds and pledge compensation to eligible users. Morph will issue the following ETH refunds and compensation: For Morph Black NFT (Mint Cost: 0.2 ETH), all black card holders will receive a refund of 0.2 ETH, and if they participate in the pledge, they will receive additional compensation. Among them, the first stage of pledge compensation: 0.15 ETH, and the second stage of pledge compensation: 0.1 ETH; for Morph Platinum SBT (Mint Cost: 0.3 ETH), all paid minting users will receive a refund of 0.3 ETH. Morph explained that the Black Card NFT and Platinum Card SBT programs were initially an early exploration of serving C-end users and gathering the community. However, with the changes in ecological development and compliance environment, this model is difficult to maintain for a long time. At the same time, Morph's strategic focus has shifted to infrastructure construction. If it continues to invest in C-end card business, it will not only be inconsistent with the main line direction, but also disperse limited resources. Morph said that the refund will be based on the address snapshot of the holding address, and the overall process will be completed within this month: 1. The black card NFT transfer function will be closed at 18:00 SGT on September 11, and the cardholder address snapshot will be completed on the chain. 2. According to the snapshot, Morph will issue a black card SBT to the current black card NFT holding address as an untransferable identity credential. 3. The refund application function will be online. The address holding a valid black card SBT can be applied on the page. The system will issue the corresponding ETH refund (including pledge compensation, if applicable) according to the qualification. 4. If the pledge users at different stages no longer hold the black card NFT, they will also receive compensation for the actual pledge situation at that time after the pledge address is initiated on the page. 5. The refund qualification of platinum card users will be confirmed through the platinum card SBT or equivalent on-chain vouchers, and the corresponding ETH refund will be applied for on the same page. 6. If you want to receive a refund and compensation, you do not need to do any operation or transfer the NFT before receiving the official notice.
