Arkham: German government has been found to fail to seize $5 billion worth of Bitcoin

PANews September 6th news, Arkham tweeted that it had been found that the German government failed to seize $5 billion worth of Bitcoin. In early 2024, German police seized 49,858 bitcoins from operators of pirated movie website Movie2K. In July 2024, the government sold the Bitcoins at an average price of $57,900 for $2.89 billion. At present, Movie2K still has more than 45,000 bitcoins in its wallet, almost the same as the number of bitcoins seized, worth $5 billion.
