According to ChainCatcher, the director of the Financial Policy Department of the Russian Ministry of Finance said that it is planned to lower the qualification threshold for "specially qualified" investors to expand the subjects participating in cryptocurrency transactions under the framework of the central bank's "experimental legal system". In March this year, the Russian Central Bank proposed a three-year pilot, which will only be opened to "specially qualified" investors. The current standard is that the total securities holdings and deposits are greater than or equal to 100 million rubles, or the income of the previous year is greater than or equal to 50 million rubles. The specific reduction has not been disclosed, and the goal is to improve accessibility under the premise of controllable risks.
