Citi: 10% of global market transactions are expected to be conducted through digital assets and tokenized securities by 2030

According to ChainCatcher, according to Glomenghui, Citi published a research report, which is expected that by 2030, 10% of the global market transaction volume will be carried out through digital assets and tokenized securities.
Respondents believe that digital assets or asset tokenization will grow the fastest in the fields of fixed income tokenization, cryptocurrency and fund tokenization. Citi's latest fifth annual report was surveyed from June to July this year, visiting 537 management personnel around the world, including financial market infrastructure, custody business, banks, securities firms, asset management companies and institutional investors. By asset class, respondents expect that by 2030, 14% of private equity trading volume will be conducted using tokenized and digital assets, another 11% of over-the-counter collateral will be traded in this way, while 10% of fund trading and stock trading are expected to be in this form, and 9% of fixed income trading and derivatives are respectively.
