According to BlockBeats, on September 3, according to Coindesk, the Dutch Treasury BV company announced that it would raise 126 million euros (US$147 million) through private equity financing, led by Winklevoss Capital (the brother of Gemini founder) and Nakamoto Holdings. The company has acquired more than 1,000 bitcoins in an effort to become Europe's largest listed bitcoin fund management company. To achieve the listing goal, the company, led by CEO Khing Oei, has entered into a binding agreement with Dutch small and medium-sized enterprise investment company MKB Nedsense NV (MKBN), to list on the Amsterdam Euromarket through a reverse acquisition. The Dutch company also announced the acquisition of Bitcoin Amsterdam, the European flagship Bitcoin event, to expand the popularity of Bitcoin.
