Conspiracy thriller "Assassination of Satoshi Nakamoto" is scheduled to be released in 2026 and starring Pete Davidson and others

PANews September 1st news, according to The Block's signings to Variety, Hollywood star Pete Davidson and Oscar winner Casey Affleck will star in a conspiracy thriller called "Killing Satoshi". The film is inspired by the mysterious founder of Bitcoin and is scheduled to be released in 2026. The film will be reportedly directed by Doug Liman, who has directed films such as "Spy" and "The Smiths", and the script is written by Clint Eastwood's long-time partner Nick Schenk. At present, the roles played by Davidson and Affleck have not been announced, so it is unclear whether the two stars will play known Satoshi Nakamoto’s related characters, such as Hal Finney or Nick Szabo. According to the filmmaker, the film "combines political conspiracy, high-tech espionage and a race against time, with forces from all over the world - including governments, Wall Street and Silicon Valley - fighting for control."
