EigenCloud announces the latest progress of the project, planning to expand applications in multiple fields

According to BlockBeats, on August 31, EigenCloud announced the latest project plan, which will be used to support applications in multiple fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), A2A, DeFi, zkTLS, physical assets (RWAs), DeFAI, DePIN, intelligent agents (Agents), Rollups and oracles. On June 17, Eigen Labs announced the launch of Ethereum restaking agreement EigenCloud, a16z crypto will invest $70 million by directly purchasing EIGEN tokens, an additional investment of a16z after investing $100 million in EigenLayer in February 2024. EigenCloud is built on the EigenLayer re-staking protocol and integrates data availability (EigenDA), general computing (EigenCompute) and dispute resolution (EigenVerify) functions. The platform allows developers to prove off-chain activities in a cryptographic way, providing the same trust guarantee as on-chain activities. More than $12 billion of replenished assets have provided security for more than 200 autonomous verifiable services.
