PANews reported on August 31 that, according to on-chain analyst Ember Monitoring, a year later, hackers who stole $81.5 million in assets from Orbit Chain in early 2024 once again transferred 4,320 ETH ($18.81 million) through Tornado cash. The hacker bought most of the assets for $2,301 and stored it in ETH. Now the price of ETH is doubled compared to that time. So, as the hackers have washed away 17,242 ETH ($66.35 million) through Tornado cash, the remaining assets that have not been transferred are still worth $61.6 million. The total value is $46.5 million higher than the $81.5 million it stolen. The hacker address now also holds 9,511 ETH ($41.6 million) + 20 million DAI.
