Mexican billionaire founded one of the country's top banks, calling fiat currencies similar to the dollar a "biggest scam" and seeing Bitcoin as the only way out

Source: CoinWorld
Mexican billionaire and founder of Aztec Bank, Ricardo Salinas Prigo, called fiat currency the "biggest scam" and warned that banks are not safe because deposits are loaned rather than stored. He argued that Bitcoin was a way out of financial slavery, and revealed that 80% of its $5 billion wealth was invested in Bitcoin and the rest in gold. Salinas started investing when the price of Bitcoin was around $200 and sold for about $17,000. Bitcoin is currently trading at $117,209, up 0.46% in 24 hours.
