Circle launches USDC on HyperEVM, leading USDH

Source: CoinWorld
Circle has launched native USDC on Hyperliquid's Layer 1 blockchain, marking its official entry into the HyperEVM ecosystem. Previously, a Circle-associated wallet acquired HYPE for $4.6 million during USDC testing. Not long ago, a governance vote granted Native Markets ownership of the planned native stablecoin USDH code. Due to the lack of liquidity of existing stablecoins on HyperEVM, Circle aims to seize market share before USDH goes online. This integration will soon realize the direct connection between HyperCore DEX and HyperEVM, enabling seamless asset docking. HYPE prices soared to an all-time high of $59 after the announcement, while HyperEVM ranked the eighth largest public chain in the DeFi sector with a total lock-in value of $2.66 billion.
