Democrats urge Republicans to "rapid" cryptocurrency bill

Source: CoinWorld
The U.S. Senate Democrats panel, led by Ruben Gallego, has set the conditions for supporting the cryptocurrency market structure bill as “real bipartisan cooperation” and urged the Republicans to agree to initiate a joint drafting process by the end of October. While the Republican initially aims to be a September 30 deadline, internal discrepancy and Democrats’ demand for more input may delay progress. If the Senate passes a revised version, the bill will return to the House and may then be served to President Trump, although the probability of being enacted by the end of the year is less than 40%.
