Ethereum giant whale doubles its holdings: $2.5 billion increase triggers supply shock

The Ethereum giant whale holding 1000 to 10000 ETH accumulated 818,410 ETH ($2.5 billion) in four months, marking its biggest buying frenzy since 2018. Exchange reserves fell to their lowest point in years, indicating an increasing scarcity. There are about 1,200 wallet addresses holding more than 10,000 ETH, the last time this was in 2021. Analysts believe this is exactly the same as the 2018 cycle, which could drive ETH price to break through five figures and is expected to reach $25,000 by 2025.
