The Hong Kong AI Efficiency Improvement Group formulates work plan and timetable in November this year

Huobi HTX reported that the new policy report of the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region was published on September 17. At the press conference this afternoon (20th), Zhuo Yongxing, deputy director of the Department of Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, announced the work arrangements of the "AI Efficiency Improvement Group", saying that the group will actively examine the department's business processes and technological applications, and provide targeted AI applications, digital transformation and process restructuring solutions to improve service efficiency and quality, promote innovative application of services and make good use of resources. Zhuo Yongxing said that the "AI Efficiency Improvement Group" will formulate a work plan and timetable in November this year and submit a report to the Chief Executive. The goal is to promote related projects next year, including the launch of AI tools covering 100 government affairs links in 2026, and the launch of flagship AI projects in 2026-2027 and 2027-2028.
