Michael Sailer: Bitcoin is becoming more attractive to institutional investors, but its attractiveness to retail investors may decline

According to Huobi HTX, Strategy executive chairman Michael Saylor said that Bitcoin is becoming more and more attractive to institutional investors, but its attractiveness to retail investors may decline. "You want volatility to be less so that big institutions can feel at ease into the field and scale up," Sailer told Natalie Brunell in a Coin Stories podcast published on Friday on YouTube. “The problem is that if large institutions come in, if volatility decreases, the market will become boring for a while, and because the market becomes boring for a while, people’s adrenaline surge will also fall,” Saylor explained. "It's like they've just experienced a huge excitement, and now the adrenaline is fading, they're a little pessimistic." Saylor said this is the "growth phase" of Bitcoin and a natural part of it.
