The Bitcoin Office of El Salvador tweeted that "Salvador is transferring funds from a single bitcoin address to multiple new unused addresses, aiming to enhance the security and long-term custody of national strategic bitcoin reserves and prepare for the potential development of quantum computing. The reserves will be redistributed to multiple addresses, each with up to 500 BTC per address." According to data on-chain, El Salvador has spread Bitcoin to 14 new wallets.
