Former U.S. SEC Chairman Gensler says he is "proud" of cryptocurrency enforcement regulation

Gensler called himself “pride” in the right decisions he made in regulating digital assets during his tenure at the SEC and reiterated the idea that cryptocurrencies are “a highly speculative, extremely risky asset.” Speaking about the enforcement actions against cryptocurrency companies, Gensler said: "We have been working to ensure investors' protection. However, we have also encountered a lot of fraudsters during this period: Look at Sam Bankman-Fried, he isn't the only one."
