FTX Recovery Trust to Distribute About $1.6 billion in September

FTX Recovery Trust will allocate approximately $1.6 billion to creditors on September 30, the exchange’s third claim since its bankruptcy in November 2022. Creditors using BitGo, Kraken or Payoneer will receive the payment within three working days. The recovery ratio varies by category of claims: Internet company customers can obtain 6% increments (78% cumulatively), US customers can obtain 40% (95% cumulatively), general unsecured and digital asset loan claims can obtain 24% (85% cumulatively), and convenience claims can obtain 120%. As more funds are recovered, we will announce future allocation plans.
