According to Bijie.com, DoubleZero is a blockchain platform designed to power communications in high-performance distributed systems and is currently exploring the launch of its mainnet beta version this month. The DoubleZero team has announced the upcoming release of the mainnet beta version, laying the foundation for the second phase of its commissioned program, which follows the release of the DoubleZero testnet. A few days before DoubleZero's announcement came out, the platform reported an incident in its testnet environment. After a routine software update on September 2, 2025, the Solana (SOL) validator on the DZ testnet lost its ability to communicate with non-verifier nodes. However, the platform says the affected validators manage to communicate uninterruptedly with other validators after successfully failover to the public internet. We are starting to explore the launch of mainnet-beta this month. The DoubleZero delegation model aims to strengthen Solana's existing network infrastructure, with its first phase going live in July and includes a 3 million SOL staking pool for its DoubleZero Staked SOL, a staking token representing a entrusted interest. The dzSOL staking pool is designed to promote validator growth and appeal throughout the Solana ecosystem. Its launch is DoubleZero's first step ahead of its mainnet beta version to achieve wider decentralization. “Geographical decentralization and distribution expand global market access and improve fairness of distributed systems. It also strengthens the resilience of blockchain networks, improves global performance, and ensures that no single region can dominate or disrupt the network,” said Austin Federa, co-founder of DoubleZero. “This stake pool is the first step in the mission – supporting today’s participants and preparing to support validators in emerging regions tomorrow.” DoubleZero is a network built for blockchain with low latency and reliable bandwidth capabilities that helps to achieve faster block propagation, network scalability and decentralization. According to details, the second phase of the network delegation program was scheduled to be launched this fall from the outset, when the equity pool will transition to the Validator Extension Support Program. The platform noted in July that the focus will be on geographically underrepresented areas. The 2Z token is the native token of the platform and is the basis of DoubleZero's practicality, efficiency and network security. Meanwhile, the platform raised $28 million in a token financing round led by Multicoin Capital and Dragonfly in March 2025.
