EU prepares to impose the 19th round of sanctions on Russia, putting final pressure

The EU issued the 19th sanctions measure to accelerate sanctions against Russia, banning the import of Russian liquefied natural gas from January 2027, and targeting it on cryptocurrency platforms, shadow shipping fleets and third-country banks. The new sanctions also involve kidnapping and indoctrinating Ukrainian children, while strengthening restrictions on military-related technologies and plugging loopholes through intermediaries.
