U.S. Chief Justice Asks Fed Director Cook to Respond to Trump

Odaily Planet Daily News US Chief Justice John Roberts has asked Fed Director Cook to respond to Trump's demand to "removal him immediately" by September 25, and has not taken action on Trump's related request. Cook has performed his duties as a Fed governor since late August when Trump announced his sacking of Cook on “suspected mortgage fraud” (which Cook has denied). At present, the U.S. Supreme Court is considering a request from the Trump administration to revoke a previous ruling that determined that Trump's firing of Cook was illegal and prohibited the Federal Reserve from enforcing the dismissal decision.
