Can voice agents at Y Combinator AI startups change productivity?

Source: CoinWorld
April is a voice-driven AI productivity assistant founded by Neha Suresh and Akash Thakur, inspired by the troubles of Neha’s daily commute. In just 50 days, it evolved from an idea to a fully functional product, initially charging $10 a month and quickly amassed 17 paid users and 200 alternate users. With the addition of the Y Combinator accelerator, April expanded its capabilities to include calendar management and handle user feedback. Currently, April has thousands of users who pay $15 a month and is close to completing a multimillion-dollar seed round. Its key insights include the importance of personalization, user preferences for voice input, and strong user engagement.
