Former SEC Chairman: "No regrets" about previous strict supervision

Source: BlockBeats
BlockBeats News: On September 19, former SEC chairman Gary Gensler said in an interview with CNBC that he had "no regrets" about his experience as the top regulator of Wall Street, even though the SEC is quickly demolishing his policies and the crypto circle is "ecstatic" about his departure. "I'm very proud of what we have achieved, I'm sworn in and led a law enforcement agency, and we're always committed to protecting investors," said Gary Gensler in an interview, noted in an interview that when the U.S. crypto industry was suddenly full of innovation, leadership and capital under the new chairman Paul Atkins, Gary Gensler was unmoved and dismissed the praises he received from his successor, insisting that aside from Bitcoin, most of the crypto industry is still in a roller coaster of hype, disconnected from fundamentals and highly speculative. After leaving the SEC in January this year, he returned to MIT to serve as professor of global economics and management practices, research and professor of AI, fintech and public policy.
