Yunfeng Finance appoints former Ant executive Jiang Guofei as chairman of the Web3 Development Committee

According to the South China Morning Post, Yunfeng Financial Group, supported by Jack Ma, appointed former Ant Group executive Geoff Jiang Guofei (Jiang Guofei) as the chairman of the Web3 Development Committee, further clarifying its strategic layout in the Web3 field. Jiang Guofei once led the Ant Group blockchain project Trusple and served as the head of the Financial Technology Laboratory of the DAMO Academy. Yunfeng Fund’s documents describe Jiang Guofei as one of three key figures representing the company’s “strong Web3 genes and talent pool.” The other two are Xiao Feng, chairman and CEO of HashKey Group, and Liang Xinjun, co-founder of Fosun International, both serve as independent non-executive directors of Yunfeng Fund. Yunfeng recently completed its first real-world asset (RWA) tokenization project and purchased 10,000 Ethereum for US$44 million as its strategic reserve, planning to promote tokenization solutions in more asset classes.
