Italian central bank calls for clarification of regulatory rules for stablecoins among multiple issuers

According to Golden Finance, the Italian central bank said that the multiple issuance of stablecoins brings operational and liquidity risks, and called on regulators to provide legal clarity as soon as possible. The bank noted that cross-border issuance increased operational and liquidity risks and believed that clear legal provisions would be "timely and valuable". Meanwhile, multiple stablecoins are raising tensions between the ECB and the European Commission.
