Sky Community has launched a vote on the proposal to "collect delayed fines for MKR upgrade to SKY"

PANews reported on September 19 that Sky (formerly MakerDAO) posted on the X platform that the voting for the proposal to "impose a delayed upgrade fine to SKY" has been launched. As part of the ongoing MKR to SKY upgrade process, Sky Atlas clearly stipulates that the administrative vote on September 18, 2025 sets the delayed upgrade penalty for the new MKR to SKY conversion contract to 1%. If the vote is passed, a 1% upgrade fine will be applied to all operations where MKR upgrades to SKY starting from September 22, 2025. Thereafter, the penalty for delayed escalation will be gradually increased by 1% every three months.
