PayPal USD stablecoin is expanding to multiple blockchains such as Tron, Avalanche, Sei, etc. through LayerZero

According to ChainCatcher, PayPal's stablecoin PayPal USD (PYUSD) is expanding to multiple new blockchains including Tron, Avalanche and Sei through integration with LayerZero's Stargate Hydra cross-chain bridge. PYUSD was released by Paxos Trust Company and was initially deployed natively on Ethereum, then expanded to Solana and Arbitrum, with Stellar added today. The extension introduces a license-free version called "PYUSD0", which will cover seven additional links including Abstract, Aptos, Avalanche, Ink, Sei, Stable and Tron. Existing bridged versions such as BYUSD on Berachain and USDF on Flow will also be upgraded to PYUSD0. According to LayerZero, PYUSD0 remains "fully interchangeable" and interoperable with native PYUSD, and users can exchange US dollars at a 1:1 ratio regardless of the version they hold.
