PANews reported on September 19 that according to Cointelegraph, Roberto Campos Neto, chairman of Brazil's digital bank Nubank and former governor of the Brazilian central bank, disclosed that Nubank is planning to integrate stablecoins and credit card payment functions pegged to the US dollar. Campos Neto said Nubank intends to start testing stablecoin payments with credit cards, part of a broader effort to connect digital assets with banking services. He also noted that the challenge for banks is to find a way to accept deposits in tokenized forms and use these assets to issue credit to clients.
