PayPal's stablecoin PYUSD is expanded to blockchains such as Tron, Avalanche, Sei, etc. through LayerZero

PANews reported on September 19 that PayPal's stablecoin PayPal USD (PYUSD for short) is expanding to multiple new blockchain networks including Tron, Avalanche and Sei through integration with LayerZero's Stargate Hydra cross-chain bridge. PYUSD was issued by Paxos Trust and was originally launched on Ethereum natively, then expanded to Solana and Arbitrum, with the Stellar network added yesterday. LayerZero said Thursday that with the expansion, a licenseless version of token called "PYUSD0" will introduce seven more blockchain networks, namely Abstract, Aptos, Avalanche, Ink, Sei, Stable and Tron. In addition, the existing cross-chain version of PYUSD on Berachain and Flow will also be upgraded to PYUSD0.
