CTO of French hardware wallet giant warns: Chrome critical vulnerability could drain your cryptocurrency

Ledger CTO Charles Guillemet warned that there is a serious vulnerability in Chrome that hackers can exploit to steal cryptocurrency wallets through malicious websites. A "type obfuscation" vulnerability in the V8 JavaScript engine allows attackers to steal private keys and seed phrases. Google released an emergency update (Chrome 140.0.7339.185) within 48 hours, affecting all Chromium-based browsers such as Brave and Opera.
