EU Commissioner promises action on pensions and cryptocurrencies by the end of the year

The EU sets an end-of-year deadline to facilitate pension investment and simplify transactions, aiming to revive the capital market. European Commissioner Maria Louis Albuquerque announced plans could grant direct regulatory power to the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA).
