TRON DAO announced that PayPal USD (PYUSD0) will be launched on the TRON network in license-free token form via Stargate Hydra and uses LayerZero’s OFT standard. This integration enhances PYUSD’s accessibility in different markets, supporting TRON’s mission to build an efficient global settlement infrastructure. TRON founder Justin Sun and LayerZero CEO Bryan Pellegrino highlighted the role of stablecoins in payments and cross-chain financial expansion. TRON currently has over 332 million accounts, with a total locked value (TVL) of $28 billion and processes approximately 9 million transactions per day.
