Coinbase enters the UK market and supports assets such as cbADA, cbDOGE, cbLTC and cbXRP on its Base Layer-2 blockchain, which can be sent and received through websites and mobile applications in the UK. Although Coinbase was fined $4.5 million by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in 2024, UK regulation has become clearer recently. Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong hinted that Coinbase will launch more products in the fourth quarter of 2025 due to growing competition from U.S. rivals such as Bullish and Gemini.
