According to Golden Finance, U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren, together with Hawaii Senator Keiko Hirono and Connecticut Senator Blumenshal, sent a letter of inquiry to Attorney General Bundy, demanding confirmation whether Binance has effectively fulfilled the relevant requirements of the 2023 settlement agreement. The agreement previously required Binance to pay a $4.3 billion fine for money laundering and sanctions violations. Although Binance has paid the fine, its compliance supervision issues are still attracting attention. Senators also expressed concern about Binance's exchanges with WorldLiberty Financial, a Trump family affiliate.
