The police said the reporter and five other friends were resting in the workshop that day. At about 5 a.m., 10 wanted men broke in and took away gold bars, gold bricks and gold powder, totaling about 65 kilograms, worth about 50 million Hong Kong dollars, and then stole about 30,000 Hong Kong dollars in cash and left. The reporter then notified the company boss and called the police for help. Hong Kong police classified the case as a theft. The police said that the wanted mastermind and the reporter were partners of a metallurgical factory and had a common business partner. 11 people had been arrested until the evening. The case is still under investigation and is followed by the Hong Kong West Kowloon Crime Team.
