Shibarium suspends bridge operations due to $4.1 million loss

A hacker leveraged Shibarium's bridging capabilities to steal 17 tokens including Ethereum, SHIB and USDC, totaling $4.1 million. The team paused the bridging operation, initiated forensic analysis, and freeze the attacker's wallet with the help of K9 Finance. Hackers used Lightning Loan to gain control of most verifiers. SHIB has provided a bounty of 50 ETH to recover funds while monitoring further cash-out attempts.
