Research: Americans' trust in banks declines, switching to cryptocurrency and DeFi

Source: CoinWorld
A new survey by DeFi Education Fund and Ipsos shows that 40% of Americans are willing to try it if legislation allows DeFi usage, and 84% of potential users are interested in shopping online. Nearly 18% of respondents have used cryptocurrencies, while 56% want to fully control their funds with low trust in banks – only 25% believe that the financial system benefits the general public. The findings come as leaders in cryptocurrencies such as Ripple and Coinbase recently met with lawmakers to refine policy proposals.
