According to ChainCatcher, Binance founder CZ posted a message on the X platform to remind crypto projects to pay attention to the security threats of North Korean hackers. He mentioned: "These North Korean hackers are advanced, creative and patient. I have seen/heard of (examples of this): 1. They pretend to be job seekers and try to find a job in your company. This puts them in the “goal”. They especially like development, security, financial positions. 2. They pretend to be employers and try to interview/provide your employees. During the interview, they will say something went wrong with Zoom software and they will send your employees a “update” link with a virus that will take over your employees’ equipment. Or they will give your employees a coding question and then send some “sample code”. 3. They pretend to be users and send you a link in a customer support request. The linked page will have some kind of virus available for download. 4. They pay/bribe your employees and outsource vendors to access the data. Just a few months ago, a major outsourcing service in India was hacked and leaked user data from a major exchange in the United States, causing more than 4 losses to users. $100 million. Things like this continue. For all encryption platforms, train your staff not to download files and carefully filter your candidates. Stay alert!”.
