Coinbase's latest acquisition of Sensible will be closed in October

Coinbase has acquired DeFi startup Sensible. Sensible will cease operations in October, and its founder will join Coinbase to advance its on-chain consumer strategy. Founded in 2022, Sensible focuses on helping users earn from idle assets through DeFi apps. This is Coinbase’s fifth acquisition in 2025, after it has acquired Deribit, Iron Fish and Opyn to expand its portfolio of crypto infrastructure and trading platforms.
