Crypto Platform Bullish earns more than Wall Street expectations in the second quarter

CoinDesk parent company Bullish (BLSH) reported second-quarter earnings per share of $0.93, surpassing analysts’ expectations of $0.03; adjusted revenue of $57 million, higher than expected $60.7 million. Trading volume soared to $179.6 billion, up from $133 billion a year ago. The company expects adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) in the third quarter to $25 million, up from $8.1 million in the second quarter. The stock has risen 44% to $53.54 since its listing on NYSE in August at $37 per share, thanks to recent approvals from BitLicense and strong performance in the cryptocurrency market.
