Several executives of cryptocurrency exchange Kraken leave, sources say

Kraken is preparing to go public in the U.S. in early 2026, with its institutional business unit losing four executives, including David Olsson, global head of institutional sales and Shannon Kurtas, vice president. The exchange reported earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) in the second quarter of 2025 down 6.8% year-on-year to $79.7 million. Recently, the company laid off hundreds of employees ahead of its planned IPO to streamline operations.
