Ethereum joins competition at the basic layer of the artificial intelligence economy

The Ethereum Foundation has established a "dAI team" to position Ethereum as the main settlement layer of artificial intelligence agents and machine economy. The program is committed to building AI trading tools without intermediaries and developing a decentralized AI stack to avoid dependence on centralized companies. The key to this work is ERC-8004, a new standard for providing on-chain reputation scores for AI agents. The Foundation will work with the Linux Foundation and A2A stakeholders to refine the standard. The move is consistent with similar efforts by the NEAR protocol and Solana to build blockchain infrastructure for the AI ​​economy.
